About Brodie Lane Pharmacy
Aaron Williams, Pharmacist & Owner
Aaron is driven by a passion to improve the health of his community. His vision involves educating and motivating patients to achieve improved health through a better understanding of medications, how they work, and alternatives that can replace some medications. He is excited to use his past experiences to benefit his friends, family and the south Austin community.
Aaron began his pharmacy career in 2000 as a pharmacy technician and continued to work as a pharmacy intern throughout pharmacy school. He moved to Austin in 2007 after completing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma and has worked in retail pharmacy ever since. Aaron is also an active volunteer and mentor with the UT College of Pharmacy and Austin Community College. He is also a member of the National Community Pharmacy Association. He has been a guest speaker at the University of Texas and enjoys helping students discover their passion for healthcare and medicine. Aaron also volunteers with the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic and Capital Area Pharmacy Association and has worked with the Texas Pharmacy Association to expand access to pharmacist-administered vaccines.
Opening Brodie Lane Pharmacy is Aaron’s dream come true. He has always wanted to open his own independent pharmacy, where patients enjoy modern pharmacy conveniences, with the benefit of old-fashioned service. Aaron encourages his customers to discuss their health issues and concerns with him so that he can better serve them with personalized advice and unique solutions. Seventeen years of experience has guided Aaron to open Brodie Lane Pharmacy, south Austin’s neighborhood pharmacy
Marisa Williams, Business Development
Meet Marisa Williams, owner of Brodie Lane Pharmacy with her husband Aaron. Marisa does a little bit of everything at the pharmacy, mostly working behind the scenes on business development. Her favorite job, however, is managing the gift shop; as she loves to find fun, unique items for Brodie Lane customers. Marisa grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. Before opening the pharmacy, Marisa did fundraising for non-profit organizations, led a City Council campaign, and most recently worked in pharmaceutical sales. In her spare time, Marisa loves spending time exploring Austin with Aaron and their two daughters. She is also active in the Baldwin Elementary PTA and the Junior League of Austin.
Marisa has embraced Aaron’s dream of owning an independent pharmacy; as she loves being able to develop personal relationships with customers and help them maintain their health and wellbeing. One of the best compliments Marisa has received is from a customer recently visiting the pharmacy. She described Brodie Lane Pharmacy as a “cozy place to come when you aren’t feeling well”. We hope all of our customers feel that way!
